Printing

The contents of data windows, such as tables and summaries, can be printed with print preview.

Start printing

To print the contents of the active window, press the Print button on the command bar or choose the corresponding item from the context menu.

Before printing, the client shows a preview window that allows the user to:

  • inspect the print layout
  • configure printer settings
  • choose the page orientation

The data is formatted as a table with column headers.

Printing tables and summaries

When tables and summaries are printed, formatting is applied automatically:

  • column headers are placed on the first row
  • data is rendered into table cells
  • the layout is adapted to the paper size
